Shane Seminar in Entrepreneurship
29 November 2007
| Peter Klein |
Scott Shane’s PhD seminar in entrepreneurship takes place twice this summer, 23-27 June and 4-8 August 2008. Two of my PhD students have gone in recent years and each came back with a glowing report. (I wouldn’t mind seeing some of these papers on the reading list, but hey, nobody’s perfect!)

As a former attendee, I would also give the seminar two big thumbs up (despite the nearly inexplicable exclusion of any work from the Foss-Klein stream of papers).

As a researcher investigating into the training needs of local entrepreneurs in Lesotho, for a Masters degree, I have read and enjoyed Prof. S. Shane’s book on General Entrepreneneurship Theory. I reckon the seminar will be fantastic and wouln’t mind a feedback and more material for my work back in Africa. Ride on Shane!

I attended a few years ago, and I found it a valuable experience.
